Perception PX

Shared Market PrototypeHow it works

Start with the explainer page to understand the language, market flow, and design logic behind Perception PX.

This guide preserves the original educational sequence so first-time PTs can learn the exchange before entering the simulation.

Perception Trader (PT)

Pick a trading handle

Perception PX lets you trade how new information may strengthen, weaken, or leave unchanged market perception around each proposition.

Choose the public name you want to use on the shared trading floor. We'll remember it on this device for your next session.

Lowercase letters, numbers, underscores, and hyphens work best.

Perception PX

How The Perception Exchange Works

Perception PX is a non-binary informational exchange where evolving information, credibility, and directional belief shape price discovery over time.

Information → Perception → Price

Prediction markets ask what will happen. Perception PX measures how information is influencing belief now.

1. Perception Contracts

Non-binary, directional propositions

A Perception Contract is not a simple yes/no wager. It is a directional proposition that can strengthen, weaken, or hold as information evolves.

Example Perception Contract

PX-WTI-70-Q326

“WTI Oil may continue trading below $70.00 through end of Q3 2026.”

Bid

PX$ 6.20

Last

PX$ 6.30

Ask

PX$ 6.40

PX contracts start at PX$ 5.00 and move in PX$ 0.10 increments.

2. Buy First / Sell First

PTs can initiate from either side

Perception Traders do not need to own a contract first. A PT may Buy First or Sell First, then later offset the position as perception evolves.

BUY FIRST

The PT believes current information may strengthen the proposition’s directional perception.

SELL FIRST

The PT believes current information may weaken the proposition’s directional perception.

3. Mock Trade Flow

How a simple trade works

Step 1

PT selects a Perception Contract.

Step 2

PT chooses Buy First or Sell First.

Step 3

Order is checked against visible PT interest.

Step 4

Trade Check verifies fill or partial fill.

Step 5

Last Verified, position, tape, and OI update.

Example

A PT enters Sell First 100 @ Market. One buyer may take all 100, or several PTs may fill it.

PT-HAWK

Buys 50 @ PX$ 5.60

PT-NOVA

Buys 30 @ PX$ 5.60

PT-ORION

Buys 20 @ PX$ 5.60

4. PX Calls

Information events tied to a contract

A PX Call is an AI-generated information event tied to one specific Perception Contract. When a PX Call begins, trading in that contract is temporarily halted so PTs can focus on the five-headline packet and read the simulated -3 to +3 or N/C outcome layer for how the information may influence directional perception.

PX Call Sequence

  1. 1AI identifies a contract-specific information event or headline cluster.
  2. 2Trading pauses only for that specific Perception Contract.
  3. 3PTs review a 5-headline packet tied directly to the proposition.
  4. 4Each headline is assigned a simulated -3 to +3 or N/C directional outcome layer.
  5. 5The platform summarizes those simulated outcomes into a directional nudge or No Change.
  6. 6The market reopens with up to a three-tick adjustment before trading resumes.

Nudge Example

The selected contract shows a simulated -3 to +3 or N/C outcome layer across the full five-headline packet.

If the aggregate PX Call response indicates a +2 directional influence, the contract may reopen with a +PX$0.20 nudge. A -3 result may reopen with a -PX$0.30 nudge. Mixed information may result in No Change.

5. PX PIT + Trade Check

Verification, visibility, and market energy

The PX PIT is where market activity becomes visible. PTs may observe active contracts, see Bid / Last / Ask, watch verified tape activity, and qualify for more advanced participation.

Trade Check

Verifies matched or partially matched activity.

Last Verified

Updates only after verified execution.

Open Interest

Shows active participation across the contract.

PT Confidential

Shows the PT’s positions, balance, and history.

6. Buzz Categories

Live informational environments

PX contracts live inside Buzz categories that keep the exchange active and organized.

7. PerCap-10

One index, top 10 contracts

PerCap-10 tracks the top 10 Perception Contracts with the highest open interest. It starts at PX$ 10.00 and refreshes weekly or when a contract expires.

8. Create Perception Contract

Qualified PT market creation

Qualified PTs may propose new contracts. AI screens for duplication, category fit, contract language, expiration window, and whether enough information exists to support active PX Calls.
